This Privacy Policy explains how the Torabase service (“Torabase,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide through the Torabase website at torabase.ai (the “Site”), including through our prelaunch early-access waitlist.

By submitting your information through the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information collected through the Site during our prelaunch period, primarily via the early-access request form. Torabase is not yet generally available; the Site currently functions to register interest and manage a waitlist for future access.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide and limited technical information necessary to operate the Site.

Information you provide directly. When you submit the early-access form, we collect:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your company or project name; and
• optionally, your primary repository language.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we may collect limited technical information such as your approximate region, browser type, device type, and pages viewed. We use privacy-conscious analytics and aim to minimize automatic collection.

We do not knowingly collect any special categories of personal data, and we do not collect information from individuals we know to be under the age of 16.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• add you to our early-access waitlist and manage that waitlist;
• contact you regarding early access, product availability, and related updates;
• understand aggregate interest in the product and improve the Site; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We process your name, email, and company information on the basis of your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in operating and developing the product. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described in Section 7.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Site and waitlist, for example email delivery providers, hosting providers, and analytics providers, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform those services on our behalf. These providers are bound to handle your information consistently with this Policy.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect our rights, safety, or property or that of others.

5. Data Retention

We retain the information you provide for as long as necessary to operate the waitlist and to contact you about early access, and thereafter as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion at any time as described in Section 7.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you provide against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, including encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of your information;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
• request a copy of your information in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, or to be removed from our waitlist, contact us at uday@torabase.ai. We will respond within a reasonable time and consistent with applicable law. Every email we send regarding early access will also include a way to opt out of further messages.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. International Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be indicated clearly on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
